Leatherworking course calendar. Fall-Winter 2016

Dates:

1/10/2016, We will learn how to engrave on leather using BURINS. To do this we will make a keychain with a nice engraved motif.

5/11/2016. Braiding technique with cords, using three and four strands. We will make a bracelet. We will see the most commonly used braiding techniques, and we will also learn how to use the tools to remove the cords.

12/17/2016 Sewing with waxed thread and sewing with lace trim. We will see the two types of sewing. We will use clamping tools, tools to pierce the stitches. Types of needles. We will apply what we have learned in a practical coin holder, combining the two types of sewing.
